You look for a sign, a remembrance or a relic from the emotion filled past: an ancient engraved tombstone, a monument which is still standing, maybe even the house where they lived and the yard where they raised plants and vegetables. You've tried to picture in your mind the synagogue which might still be proudly standing there, the neglected abandoned cemetery, and the little schoolhouse and grocery store.

Are You Ready to Go?! Welcome!

All you have to do is to give us an idea of the direction you want to take. Tell us the name of the personality you are interested in knowing about, or the place you wish to visit. Tell us which historical sites you feel emotionally connected to; which specific places speak to you from the past. For example, a certain train station, a forgotten cemetery, and even an ancient wooden bench or brick fence which might still be standing in some far away place, which you heard about from your parents and grandparents

We will take over from here. We will put our special team to work to try to locate the family roots; their original place of residence; relevant documents that may be preserved in the basement of the archives; old pictures; sites which are connected to the past, to a certain place and a certain time. We will do all the groundwork necessary to prepare a meticulously organized roots journey.

Besides your personal roots journey, at the same time you will most likely wish to visit additional sites which have a nostalgic connection to Judaism. We are also prepared for this. They rekindle the Jewish spark which has been dormant. They are connecting the distant past with the glorious present for the sake of an assured future.

The children perhaps do not remember the previous generation – the grandfather and the grandmother of a generation or two ago, or the aunt and uncle who lived in the villages of once upon a time.
While we ourselves wish to learn about our ancient roots, there are times when it is of no less importance to bring along with us on our roots journey, our children. We strongly recommend bringing the younger generation along to experience a threefold meeting of generations: the children and grandchildren in the places where the grandfather and grandmother lived their lives.
